Our business is sustainable and environmentally friendly for various reasons, which we would like to explain in detail below:

Long before sustainability became a “trend” in marketing, it was natural for our family and a way of life to recycle, reuse materials, and create something new from them to counteract the throwaway culture. Therefore, it was incredibly important for us to make our small jewelry brand as sustainable as possible right from the start.
    1. Using plastic-free packaging was a given for us. We use recyclable cardboard boxes that are optimally sized to fit easily into a mailbox and prevent repeated delivery attempts. Additionally, our packages do not contain any additional unnecessary paper shreds or air packaging.
    2. “Made-to-order”: Our jewelry is only made after we receive your order. This means that the jewelry piece is specifically made for you, rather than being ready-made and in stock.** As a result, there are no excesses, pressure to sell, or waste. We can also accommodate your individual preferences and customize your jewelry piece to fit you. Made-to-order allows us to offer a wide range of sizes and lengths that perfectly match, for example, your ring size or your hand/ankle circumference. Also for necklaces many different length variations are possibe.
    3. Upon request we recycle and upcycle high-quality used materials and jewelry pieces from our customers by incorporating them into our designs or creating new favorite pieces.
    4. We use high-quality materials and, whenever possible, recycled or recyclable materials.
    5. The fabric pouches in which you receive your jewelry pieces are lovingly sewn by us in Munich. The fabrics mostly come from our own stock or are sourced second-hand and thoroughly cleaned. Each pouch is manually printed by us in an environmentally friendly manner with our logo.
    6. We ship our products in a climate-neutral way with DHL GOGREEN.
    7. If, by any chance, a jewelry piece should break, we can also repair it for you. It is important to us that our jewelry pieces have a long lifespan and are not simply discarded. To do so, please write us an email at kontakt@preciousea.de
    8. We donate €1 for each order received: We want to contribute together with you to the protection of the oceans, their inhabitants, coral reefs, and our entire planet. For this reason, for each order received, we donate €1 to various charitable organizations that work to preserve ocean ecosystems, protect coral reefs and marine life, make the planet more sustainable overall, or fight against marine pollution. Together, we advocate for a sustainable future and express our responsibility towards our planet.
With all these measures, we aim to protect our wonderful planet, the oceans, and their inhabitants as best we can. It is important for us to keep our ecological footprint as positive as possible and contribute to environmental protection. Sustainability is firmly embedded in our values, not because it sounds good from a marketing perspective, but because it personally means a great deal to us.
